Hello! Project's idol group Angerme kicked off their autumn concert tour "ANGERME 9th ANNIVERSARY TOUR 21 AUTUMN "ROOTS"" on September 10st at the Yuki Civic Cultural Center ACROSS Large Hall in Ibaraki.
It was announced that sub-leader Ayano Kawamura will graduate after this tour, and this tour is to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the group's name change from S/mileage to Angerme. The stage was about to begin, and before the show started, the crowd was filled with anticipation, and when the members appeared, there were loud cheers, and the excitement of the fans grew with each song that was performed.
With the excitement of the live going strong, leader Kamikokuryo Moe began her MC by saying, "It's begun! First day!", and further stirred up the fans' expectations by saying, "It's going to be great, so you can look forward to it." Kawamura commented, "Finally, this day has come," as the first day arrived, and spoke of her enthusiasm for the final tour, saying, "I want to cherish every moment and have the best time with everyone who has come."
In the second half, Kawamura introduced the song and they debuted "Yuyukan nan gonna be alright!!" from their new single to be released on November 11th. The danceable melody showed a new side of the group, and the positive and happy content that is typical of Angerme got the fans even more excited, and they continued to perform killer tunes one after another.
In their final greetings, each member looked back on the performances and rehearsal periods, and Hirayama Yuki, who said she was inspired by her seniors and juniors who worked hard alongside her, expressed her gratitude, saying, "I've been able to get to this point surrounded by great seniors, music, and staff."
Tamenaga Yukine spoke forcefully, saying, "I want to convey the charm of what we have inherited, and have people think that the current Angerme is the strongest," and Ise Suzuran expressed her determination, saying, "Today, with a new system and a new step, we cleared all thoughts and took to the stage. I hope this tour will help us grow even more."
Kawamura asked the audience, "Did you have fun?" and continued, "I was so excited until the first day arrived, but I'm happy that now with these members we can sing a set list that gives you a sense of Angerme's history.
"I want to spend every second of this final tour, every performance, with no regrets," she said, once again expressing her feelings about this tour. She also smiled as she addressed the fans, saying, "I'm glad that you have been so passionate about ANGERME and have shown your love in so many different ways." Kamikokuryo was overcome with emotion as she listened to the members' comments, saying, "I'm really happy that we're able to do this with these members now, and I'm so happy to be able to spend this time here with you all," conveying her deep love for the group and the fans, and the first day's performance ended in a warm atmosphere where the entire venue was united until the last song.
The tour will continue with 14 shows at 11 locations across Japan, including Kawamura's hometown of Kochi, and at the evening performance it was announced that Kawamura's graduation concert will take place at Nippon Budokan on November 28th.
