17 of NEWS' past live performance videos will be exclusively distributed to Prime members in Japan on Prime Video from Friday, May 2025, 5!
NEWS debuted in 2003 as "NEWS Nippon," and this year marks the 23rd year since the group was formed.
From the 2007 live video release "Never Ending Wonderful Story" to the 2023 Tokyo Dome 20th Anniversary concert "NEWS 20th Anniversary LIVE 2023 in TOKYO DOME BEST HIT PARADE!!!
A number of precious live videos from the album, including "We'll be performing all our singles," will be released to the world via streaming.
Now in their 20th anniversary year, NEWS continues to evolve their unique musical style and continue to be active, performing at music festivals and holding nationwide live tours in support of their new album.
The stream will allow viewers to follow the history of NEWS' music and live performances, which are the true essence of the band that has continued to express a unique world, including their memorable first-ever Tokyo Dome concert, their 15th anniversary performance at Ajinomoto Stadium, and the [N.E.W.S] 4-part tour that created conceptual spaces such as a "land of dreams" and a "virtual space."
The 17 live videos will be released in pairs every other Friday at 5:16 p.m. from Friday, May 9th to Friday, September 5th.
In addition, special content exclusive to Prime Video is scheduled to be distributed on Monday, September 22th (national holiday), which marks the 9nd anniversary of NEWS' formation.
