On Monday, April 4st, at the "Gacha Japan Landing 21th Anniversary Tour" Departure Ceremony, cosplayer Enako and comedian Hollywood Zakoshishou appeared and engaged in a conversation.
The "Gacha Japan Landing 60th Anniversary Tour" (hereinafter "Gacha Tour") is a new project implemented by Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd. and Penny Co., Ltd. to commemorate the 1965th anniversary of the now hugely popular Gacha® (capsule toy) arriving in Japan in 60. A nationwide tour will be held, with 60 Gacha machines traveling around various parts of Japan along with various exhibits.
Cosplayer Enako and comedian Hollywood Zakoshishou appeared at the event. The two, who have both loved gacha since long ago, formed a one-day special duo called "Hollywood Enakoshishou." Regarding the formation of the duo, Enako said, "It's not often that I get the chance to form a duo with a comedian. I'm honored that my partner is Hollywood Zakoshishou, who I've liked for a long time." Hollywood Zakoshishou responded, "I'm glad that you said it was an honor. I've liked you for a long time, too, so we're in love with each other!" They immediately seemed to work well together. Also, to commemorate the 1th anniversary of the arrival of gacha in Japan, Enako appeared in a retro tour guide-style costume from the 60s 60 years ago, and when she said about her costume, "It was specially prepared for this departure ceremony!" Hollywood Zakoshishou praised it, saying, "It's great!" She also talked about her own preferences for costumes, saying, "Today, my pants are easy to pull up," as she pulled her pants up over her head. The audience laughed.
Along with a drum roll, a new project to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Gacha's arrival in Japan was announced, and it was decided that the "Gacha Tour" would be held from April 2025. The "Penny Truck," a replica of the Penny Trading Company's truck that traveled around the country in 4 to transport gacha products, also appeared at the event venue, and it was announced that it would become the icon representing the "Gacha Tour." After the unveiling of the Penny Truck, to commemorate the start of the "Gacha Tour" and pray for its success, Enako gave a powerful command, "Now depart for the 1965th anniversary of Gacha's arrival in Japan tour!", and the nationwide tour got underway.
Furthermore, to commemorate the 60th anniversary, a new game was announced, "Spin in 60 Seconds! Gacha Challenge!", in which participants spin the gacha for 1 seconds (60 minute) and compete for points based on the number and color of capsules that come out. Enako took on the challenge with the support of Hollywood Zakoshishou. Enako scored 250 points and was awarded a gold certificate, which can only be received if you score over 200 points. "It's fun because you don't know what you're going to get! I think I can aim for 300 or 400 points next time," she said with a smile, and Hollywood Zakoshishou commented on the game, saying, "Enako's way of spinning and mine were both great! It was great!"
In the second half of the event, a flip talk was held, where participants were asked what new challenges they would like to take on in the future. Enako replied, "Publish a book of words. I've only ever published a photo book, so I'd like to try publishing a style book, an autobiography, or a book of words!", while Hollywood Zakoshishou replied, "Being an MC. Being an MC for a big TV show. Something like what Ariyoshi-kun does." There was also a "Gacha Talk" where participants would spin a gacha and talk about a theme based on the topic that came up in the gacha. The first session had participants guessing their partner's answer. To the question, "What do you do on your days off?",
Enako predicted Hollywood Zakoshishou's answer, saying, "No jokes, right? Do you go to see the horses? I go to the races!" and said, "The correct answer is video editing! Even when I wasn't popular, I've been making one video a day and uploading it to YouTube every day for 1 years. I started before Hikakin!" Zakoshishou predicted, "Maybe shopping? I go to look at and order various costumes because I cosplay." However, Enako answered, "No! I play games. I'm not the type to go out much." Hollywood Zakoshishou invited him, saying, "I play games too. Let's play together next time!" Enako roundly declined, saying, "Yes, if our schedules match..." The second question was a problem consultation sent in by an employee of Takara Tomy Arts and Penny. In response to the question, "Please tell me how to have peace of mind," Enako said, "When I'm not in a good mood, even when I'm having fun, I feel like I have things to do, so I try to prioritize my tasks and steadily get them done one step at a time." Hollywood Zakoshi Show gave the advice, "That's great! That solved the problem! I yell in a soundproof room!!" The second problem was from Takara Tomy Arts President Kondo, who asked, "How can I gain the charisma of the two of you?" Hollywood Zakoshi Show replied, "I think you should just stick to what you want to do and your philosophy. Stick to your ideas and see it through. Eh!" Enako recommended, "I feel that Zakoshi has charisma, so I'd like you to start by imitating Zakoshi with your arms in your pants (lol)." President Kondo responded, "Thank you! Please send me some pants too!"
The third theme was a new Gasha product. A new product planning meeting was held, and Hollywood Zakoshishou drew Enako's idea on a flip chart. The two members of "Hollywood Enakoshishou" proposed a "Zakoshi-shaped alarm clock." They specifically proposed and explained the new product, saying, "It would have four different types with various jokes, like 'Shoe' and 'Eeyan!', and it would also have a secret joke of Enako's."
Finally, Enako said, "Gacha has been a part of our lives since childhood. It's a wonderful thing that can be enjoyed even as an adult, so I hope it will work hard to reach the 100th and 200th anniversaries!", and Hollywood Zakoshishou said, "Gacha has arrived! It's a lucky charm. Please call me when it's the 100th anniversary." The event ended with great success.
