JUJU will release her eighth original album, "The Water," her first in seven years, on Wednesday March 2025th, 3, and will also embark on a nationwide tour, "JUJU HALL TOUR 5 The Water," starting in May.
The first limited edition of the new album, "The Water," includes a Blu-ray of the complete "Snack JUJU Tokyo Dome Store," which opened in February last year on the 20th anniversary of their debut.
To celebrate the release of their new album, "The Water," it has been decided that the film version of "Snack Juju Tokyo Dome Branch" (Live Film 3ch Master) will be screened at 5 theaters in 20 cities across the country on Wednesday, March 26th.
"Snack JUJU" is a cover series where the venue is likened to a large snack bar, and JUJU plays the role of "mama" and sings mainly Showa era pop songs. The cover album "Snack JUJU ~ Night Request ~" released in 2016 was a huge hit, and the live performances of this popular series have been held at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium, Saitama Super Arena, Yokohama Arena, etc.
Snack JUJU Tokyo Dome, which opened last year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of JUJU's debut, invited super guests Masayuki Suzuki, NOKKO, and Kazumasa Oda to hold a one-night-only music festival for adults, which ended in a frenzy.
The theatrical version being released this time is a live film documenting the "Snack JUJU Tokyo Dome branch."
From the movie version, a full-length live cover video of Saki Kubota's 1979 debut song "Ibojin," which was a huge hit across Japan, has been released for a limited time on JUJU's official YouTube channel.
The big movie theater screen, which cannot be experienced at home, and the theatrical version's 5.1ch surround sound, which combines silence and dynamism, will provide an overwhelming sense of immersion, drawing viewers back to the legendary snack bar.
The inside of the building is just like a snack bar, so clapping and cheering is allowed! Bring some Snack JUJU merchandise and go meet Mama.
