Kimi to Band, who are set to be the first indie girls band to hold a solo Zepp tour in 2025, held a photo session wearing furisode at three venues in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo in January, and the event was a huge success. Photos of the band in furisode with hair and makeup are also very popular on social media.
Kimi to Band holds an annual photo session, attracting new fans as well as existing fans. In the summer of 2024, when they held the same event wearing yukata, they captivated fans with their furisode and hair and makeup provided by Atelier Haruka, a hair and makeup specialty store with over 60 stores in major cities across the country, who also helped them out.
When drummer and leader Ohno Mai posted pictures of herself wearing furisode at each venue on Instagram along with the comment "Which one do you like?", she received a lot of responses from fans, with comments like "They're so lovely," "You can describe them as both pretty and cute," and "They're all... I can't choose."
