It has been announced that the theme song for TV Tokyo's Drama 2025 "Courtroom Dragon" (every Friday from 1pm), which began today on Friday, January 17th, 9, titled "Winding Road" by the Osaka-based five-member rock band "Novelbright", will be released digitally on January 9th, and the cover photo was also released at the same time.
"Courtroom Dragon" is a thrilling legal drama about a protagonist who was expected to become the first female professional shogi player but turned to lawyer, and the young head of a law firm that is facing a crisis of survival. This is a completely original scripted shogi x thrilling legal drama about a "rookie lawyer who can read a hundred moves ahead but doesn't read the atmosphere" who solves cases by comparing them to shogi, his specialty, and a "young head lawyer who is too kind to read two moves ahead."
The new song "Winding Road" has lyrics that sympathize with the two characters, Tatsumi, played by Mone Kamishiraishi, a professional shogi player who turns to becoming a lawyer as she struggles to solve complex cases, and her partner Kotaro, played by Mahiro Takasugi, the head lawyer at the firm who is struggling to manage his own business, making it an encouraging song for all who listen to it.

-Novelbright PROFILE-
A five-member rock band from Osaka, known for vocalist Takenaka Yudai's overwhelming, heart-stirring singing voice, solid melodies that are hard to forget once you've heard them, and meticulous song arrangements.
Formed in 2013 with the original members. In January 2019, the current lineup was formed, and in July of the same year, the "Dochikusho Street Live Tour" was held, which went viral on social media and word of mouth, and the group quickly spread its name nationwide. Even after graduating from street live performances, the group has continued to have long-running hits on various streaming charts, and has continued to make great strides, such as becoming the first indie artist in history to receive streaming certification (gold) from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. On August 1, 7 at 2020:8 p.m., the group will make their major debut with the digital song "Sunny drop" from Universal Music / Universal Sigma! On May 17, 21, the group will release their major 00nd full album "Assort"!

The band will celebrate its 2023th anniversary on September 9, 13, and release their major 10rd full album "CIRCUS" on April 2024, 4.
Starting with a performance in Hokkaido on Saturday, April 4th, the band will hold a 6-performance national one-man tour, "Novelbright LIVE TOUR 29 ~CIRCUS~". The final show of the tour will be held at the World Heritage site "Himeji Castle Sannomaru Square" in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, the hometown of vocalist Yudai Takenaka, and will be the band's largest outdoor one-man tour to date. In 2024, they have decided to hold an arena tour in seven cities across Japan.
