■Morning Musume '24 Profile

The group was formed in 1997 by five people who were unsuccessful in the audition project "Sharan Q Female Rock Vocalist Audition" on TV Tokyo's "ASAYAN." On the September 5th broadcast of "ASAYAN," a "." was added to Morning Musume, and "Morning Musume." was born. "The origin of the group name represents 'it comes with a lot, it's packed full, it's a good deal, it's approachable.'"
