On November 11th, Hello! Project idol group Juice=Juice held a solo performance "Juice=Juice Concert Tour 19 TRIANGROOOVE2024 Special" at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. They sang a total of 2 songs in front of 7500 fans, and the performance was also exclusively streamed on the online video streaming service "Hulu".
They performed their new song for the first time, a cover of Mariya Takeuchi's "Konya wa Hearty Party," and their junior Hello! Project new group, Rosy Chronicle, livened up the stage as back-up dancers.
(Juice=Juice member Risa Irie was absent due to a hiatus caused by poor health.)
This performance was the final show of the autumn tour "Juice=Juice Concert Tour 9 TRIANGROOOVE6," which began in September and has seen 12 shows at six venues across the country.
As the opening BGM played, the 18 members of Juice=Juice and Rosie Chronicle appeared on stage in a cool style, and the venue erupted in cheers.
Juice=Juice, clad in heroic new black and white costumes, started their performance with "Tokyo Blur." In the debut performance of "Konya wa Hearty Party," which followed "Platonic Planet," the members took to the city pop-style melody in unison in the center of the venue, taking light steps.
When Juice=Juice returned backstage, solemn instrumental background music began playing in the venue, and the members of Rosie Chronicle captured the fans' attention with a cool dance performance.
In the middle of the live, they performed a variety of performances in blocks divided into "3 themes". In the solo performance "Juice=Juice LIVE 2018 at NIPPON BUDOKAN TRIANGROOOVE" held at the Budokan in October 10, the current leader Danbara Ruru and the eight members of the time livened up the stage with the three themes of "CUTE", "SEXY", and "COOL", but in the fall tour of 2018, the current members will "re-enact" the stage and captivate fans.
For the first theme, "Cute," the nine members of Juice=Juice performed "POPPIN' LOVE" and "Kindan Shoujo," followed by Kudo Yua, Ebata Kisaki, and Kawashima Mika, who exuded charm with "Ini Mini Manimo ~Love Rival Declaration~" and a cover of Berryz Kobo's "Rival."
For the next theme, "Active," the audience swayed along with the stage, and the nine members of Juice=Juice performed a comical "Stomp Dance" and moved rhythmically to "Pop Music."
Sub-leader Inoue Rei thundered out the sound of her special skill, voice percussion, and when she sang "Abaretsukka?! Havaguttai" with Arisawa Ichika and Ishiyama Sakura, Arisawa showed off her special skill, violin, and the three of them showed various expressions when they performed the Melon Kinenbi cover "This is Destiny."
In the next theme "Passion", the nine members of Juice=Juice performed "Noctiluca" and "Betting it all, Go!!" Danbara, Matsunaga Ria, and Endo Sayaka performed "Va-Va-Voom", a cover of ℃-ute's "Jounetsu Ecstasy", chanting "Juice!" repeatedly to encourage the fans, and the clapping increased the sense of unity in the venue.
As the main part of the show drew to a close, the nine members made a spurt in the block titled "Juice=Juice," performing seven songs in a row.
Following "Future Smile," featuring Arisawa's violin, and "STAGE~Agatte Mina~," which featured Inoue's brilliant voice percussion, "GIRLS BE AMBITIOUS" saw the members one after the other show off their unique personalities in line with the lyrics, which featured each member individually.
During the final song of the main set, "Fiesta! Fiesta!", flames erupted many times on stage, and the fans' excitement rose sharply in response to the passionate performance. As the stage went dark, the audience repeatedly called for an encore, chanting "Juice!" and "One more drink!"
After receiving enthusiastic cheers, the nine members of Juice=Juice appeared on stage again and performed "Ganbarenai yo." For the group, who had performed 9 songs at a rapid pace up to this point, the first and last MC of the concert was where the members shared their thoughts.
Kawashima said that Juice=Juice's music "saved my heart," and that she hoped their performance would "provide a motivation to work hard from tomorrow." Endo, who was entrusted with the unfamiliar task of hyping the crowd for the 2024 Fall Tour, said that he was praised by senior members for "good hyping." Ishiyama renewed his determination, saying, "With Irie-san back, we can aim for even bigger stages with Juice=Juice as a complete group of 10."
Ebata shared a charming episode about how he "got really good at falling over (during the fall tour)" during the choreography for "Ini Mini Manimo - Love's Rival Declaration," which was also shown in the main performance, and Arisawa described Juice=Juice as "a place where I have a place to belong." Matsunaga looked back on the past "TRIANGROOOVE," which he had seen on a live viewing in his hometown of Osaka, saying, "I never thought at the time that we would perform it again and that I would be on the other side."
Kudo, who was in charge of the "Cute" block during the performance, said, "I thought that this concert was a strength for me, so I would like to use what I learned and study how to look cute again and deliver it to you," and Inoue appealed to the fans, saying, "Let's be happy!" Danbara revealed that for the re-performance of "TRIANGROOOVE" after "six years," she "kept the same hairstyle" as she did back then, and with a smile, conveyed her thoughts that "it was a concert where I felt that Juice=Juice was continuing" as the final performance of the 6 fall tour.
With only a little time left in the performance, they performed "This World Is Not a Throw Away," followed by the future-inspired "Goal ~Tomorrow is Over There~" for the final song. For the last song, the members of Rosie Chronicle gathered on stage, and the performance came to a grand finale in a bright and cheerful atmosphere.
The music video for the new song "Konya wa Hearty Party," which was debuted at this concert, will be released on Juice=Juice's official YouTube channel from 20:12 on the 2025th. From January 1, 2, Hello! Project members will start their concert tour "Hello! Project 2025 Winter Fes. "Kaku" "Gou."
