On the 11th, Hello! Project's (Hello! Project) new group, Rosie Chronicle, held their first solo event, "Hello! Project. Presents Chronicles of Rosie Chronicle ~Mirai Hajimari~" at Yamano Hall in Tokyo. During the event, the group made a surprise announcement that their debut single will be released on March 2025, 3, and the members, receiving huge cheers of congratulations, tearfully revealed their thoughts about their debut.
After an opening video introducing the members, the event started with a performance of "Mirai Hajimari."
The nine members, Hashida Ayuka, Yoshida Himeka, Onoda Karin, Murakoshi Ayana, Uemura Hasumi, Matsubara Yuria, Shimakawa Nana, Kamimura Reina, and Soma Yume, performed with great energy and energy.
The host, former Hello! Project member Karin Miyamoto, appeared and the members introduced themselves during the first MC session. When asked about her enthusiasm for the event, Matsubara tweeted, "I feel like crying when I hear everyone's cheers."
Hashida announced, "We've decided on the greeting that we'll use when introducing ourselves at live shows and events: 'We are Rosie Chronicle!'" She then brought her right hand close to her left side and first made a rose in sign language, a reference to "Rosie," and then showed off the group's original pose for the first time, making the letter "C," the first letter of "Chronicle."
The opening sound effect, which is used exclusively for the Rosie Chronicle stage, was also performed for the first time, and the performance resumed. As the event was heating up with the members singing "Daisuki dakedo koaienai" and Juice=Juice's "Ijiwaru naide dakishimeteyo" one after the other, Miyamoto appeared as if to interrupt the members' comments during the final MC session, saying "Wait a minute!" In front of the confused members and audience, they made a surprise announcement that their debut single will be released on March 2025, 3, which was met with thunderous cheers as the members shared their thoughts on the decision to debut.
The members had tears in their eyes as they reminisced about their time as Hello! Project trainees, and Hashida said, "I think this is just the start, so I want to work hard to be a good leader and bring this group together." Matsubara, who joined the Hello! Project trainees when she was in the fourth grade of elementary school, said with emotion, "December will soon be my seventh year (since joining the Hello! Project trainees)...I thought I would be able to make my debut."
After joining the unit, Murakoshi expressed her joy, saying, "I lost confidence for a while, wondering if everything would be okay and if I would really be able to debut, but I'm really happy that it was announced like this." Yoshida turned to the audience and said with a smile, "I'm sure you're all surprised, but we're the most surprised of all."
Onoda revealed that there was a time when she "couldn't sing or dance, and whenever I realized it I would feel frustrated, and no matter how much I practiced I just couldn't get it right," and then, holding back tears, expressed her joy at debuting.
Uemura expressed her gratitude to her family, saying, "My mom, my dad, my grandparents, and everyone else has supported me throughout my activities so far." Shimakawa shared a heartwarming episode between the members, saying that when she said, "I'm sorry I can't do anything," during a group discussion, "Honohono senpai (Hashida) told me on LINE, 'Everyone knows you're growing up fine,' and that made me want to do my best."
Kamimura praised his fellow members, saying that he was "happy that the efforts of the members who had been there before he joined were rewarded" with their debut, while Soma stated, "I think that as we perform more live shows together from now on, we'll become closer friends. I'll do my best."
After calming down, the group finished by performing "CHO Chokotto Rock'n'Roll."
"That was Rosie Chronicle!" the members concluded the stage in unison, and began running towards the "future."
Rosie Chronicle was formed in 2022 as the "Hello! Project Trainee Unit '22" consisting of five members: Matsubara Yuria, Onoda Karin, Hashida Ayuka, Murakoshi Ayana, and Uemura Hazumi.
In 2023, Yoshida Himeka and Kamimura Reina were added, and in 2024, Shimakawa Nana and Soma Yume were added, forming the group "Rosie Chronicle" with nine Hello! Project trainees.
The group's name is a combination of "Rosy," which means "rose-colored," "full of hope," and "full of happiness," and "Chronicle," which means a historical book that records events year by year.
The name was chosen with the hope that the company will continue to weave a rosy history that will be passed down forever.
