On October 10th, a launch event for Angerme's Ayano Kawamura's last photobook, "permanent girl" (Odyssey Publishing), was held in Tokyo.
Ayano Kawamura has announced that she will be graduating from ANGERME and retiring from the entertainment industry after their performance at Nippon Budokan on Thursday, November 11th, so this will be her last photo book.
When asked about the highlights of the photobook, she said, "Since it's my last photobook, I filled it with things I want to do and places I want to take photos, so it's a really dreamy book. I'm from Kochi, so we shot the photos on location in Kochi Prefecture. I was really happy and like the fact that we were able to take the photos on Kashiwajima (an island in Otsuki Town, Hata District, Kochi Prefecture), which is a three-hour drive from Kochi City. The shot of me holding the bonito is of a fish market in Kochi, a place I used to go to often when I was in elementary school, and when I happened to go to the market, I met an old man from the market who I hadn't seen since elementary school, and he said, "Hold that bonito, hold that," and he gave me the bonito to hold. It'd been a really long time since I'd seen him, but it was so warm and there were so many kind people there, and I felt so warm and fuzzy while taking the photos."
Apparently the filming took place in the summer, and he commented, "It was just towards the end of summer, and it was still around summer vacation, so it was a really pleasant time to be in the ocean."
Introducing her favorite cut, she commented, "This photo was taken in the sea at Kashiwajima. I'm on a swim tube, floating in the sea. The water is so clear that you can see the stones and rocks at the bottom. The waves are also really beautiful, and I think it's a really great photo, so it's my favorite."
She apparently saw the finished photo book just before today's event, and said with a smile, "There are handwritten messages from everyone at the end, and I was like, 'Ehhh?' I haven't read them all yet, and I think I'll cry if I read them, so I want to read the messages from everyone when I get home. Everyone contributed to this book."
Regarding the title "permanent girl," she revealed, "The editor who worked with me on the photo book suggested it to me, and "permanent girl" contains the word 'forever,' so I thought it was perfect. When you hear the word 'permanent,' it makes you think of a perm. I have pretty curly hair that looks like a perm, so that feeling of curly hair is also included in the photo book. The photos were taken in a way that makes the most of my own natural natural beauty, so that aspect is included, so I asked for the title to include the word 'permanent.'"
When asked the standard question of giving a score, she said, "I would give it 100 out of XNUMX, but I think that as my fans watch it and give me their reactions, the score will probably continue to go up."
With less than a month until her graduation performance, she said, "My graduation date had been decided, but it felt like it went by so quickly, and before I knew it, there was only one month left. But I really want to enjoy this remaining month to the fullest with my beloved members."
Regarding her graduation performance at Nippon Budokan on Thursday, November 11th, she said, "With that performance I will be graduating from ANGERME and retiring from the entertainment world, so I intend to give it my all, with all the hard work I have put in up until now. I am really looking forward to having a great time, and I hope to spend an unforgettable time with all my fans."
When asked what she would like to do privately after graduating from Angerme, she said, "After I graduate from Angerme, I would really like to see an Angerme concert. I would love to enjoy an Angerme concert together with all the fans."
Ayano Kawamura is a qualified first-class tuna butcher. After retiring from show business, she commented, "Tuna is my favorite fish, so if it's in the supermarket, I'll probably still buy it, but I don't think I'll be doing tuna butchering shows or anything like that, so I probably won't be doing tuna butchering anymore." However, she also said, "There's a technique called 'hanging monkfish butchering,' where you hang the fish and then butcher it, but I've never butchered a monkfish, so I'd like to try it someday."
Finally, she said, "As this is Ayano Kawamura's last photo book, I would be happy if it reaches all of you who have supported me. I hope I can become everyone's eternal girl!"
Ayano Kawamura's photo book "permanent girl" will be released on November 11th.
